30-Day Wardrobe Challenge! Day 26 & 27: A Bold Coat + A Sleek Slouchy Look

Day 26: Wear a bold coat with simple essentials + Day 27: Try a sleek and slouchy look –

Another mash up today for Day’s 26 and 27 as the “sleek and slouchy” looked had me stumped! What does that even mean?

I knew immediately which coat I was going to wear for Day 26, how could I possibly not wear my mum’s vintage tiger print coat?! This sucker is virtually a family heirloom and one I’m happy to have in my possession. It’s pure lux, and I’ve said it before, but it needs to be seen more often. I’m thinking the ski fields of Europe if you catch my drift!!

ootd_bold coat&slouchy sleek6This is my interpretation of “sleek and slouchy” – oodles of black  for that sleek and suave edge (with just a smidgen of peek-a-boo sheerness to the top for added brazen-ness) finished off with a drape-y cardigan for the slouchy feel.

All I know is that with this coat on I feel like a total bad-ass! Do you have any pieces of clothing that make you feel super confident when you wear them?

  1. I have this big red, tartan shirt dress (from Sportsgirl) that I got in Sydney recently. It brings out the (fake) red tones in my hair and when I pair it up with a pleather jacket and some red lippie I feel so bad ass 🙂

  2. I CANNOT deal with the fierceness of this outfit! So classy and sexy with the little peek-a-boo bra, you betta serve hunty. Love! And I’m such a huge fan of Mama Tonks’ coat! xo

Now it's your turn...let me know what you think. I love reading your comments! :)
