ZIC – Pocket Reading Glasses

Hands up if you’re a four-eyed beauty like me?! Woohoo, glasses wearers UNITE! I’ve been wearing glasses since I was about 15, mainly to correct the astigmatism in my right eye, but also to be able to see long distances (see it’s not a resting bitch face, I just can’t see anything!!). Since then I’ve always been on the search for some cute and hip frames and when Reading Glasses UK reached out to me to road test a pair of their reading specs I jumped at the chance.

Reading Glasses UK have teamed with Italian brand ZIC to bring together über stylish and affordable reading glasses for just about everybody. ZIC Designer Reading Glasses are designed for both men and women and are available in eight funky colours and range in strengths from +1.00 to +3.50 and are £29.99 (just over $AU60).

They’re designed in Italy so you know they’re fabulously chic and on trend. They are super slim and fold in on themselves and act like they’re own case – HOW COOL IS THAT?!! And if you’re a klutz like me (hey, I can’t help if I’m clumsy!) and sit on them by accident they won’t break as they’re made from transparent thermoplastic material which is a type of polyamide polymer, which basically means they’re really, really strong! – why do I feel like Michele when I say this?

I absolutely adore these cute little specs and think they are so funky! As I mentioned I have an astigmatism so they’re not the best fit for me to wear over long periods of time but for short stints like reading mags on the couch they’re a winner.

What do you think? Do these specs make me look smarter??

  1. These are really cute! I wear glasses for distance, but I basically live in my contacts. Glasses just get in the way half the time, especially when you work retail and you are all over the place and sweating. I only wear my glasses at night before bed.

Now it's your turn...let me know what you think. I love reading your comments! :)
