To Market, To Market

There’s no denying I love food! I’m always pinning some ridiculous peanut butter and chocolate concoction on Pinterest. When I’m eating breakfast I’m already drooling over what’s for lunch while planning dinner! I’m always filling you all in on my eating adventures from my travels or sharing my yummy recipes with you. Basically if it can be ingested I want it!! So when the lovely Christiana from My Farmers Market Table reached out to me and told me about her venture I was intrigued.

My Farmers Market Table is an ethical, authentic and hand-picked subscription-based food box. Christiana explained that she was a huge fan of farmers markets (who isn’t?!) but understood that most people don’t have access to them or can’t get to them all the time (amen!). That’s where she steps in; each month customers get to discover a new region, its farmers markets and it’s small, independent and passionate producers, all hand-picked by Christiana. What an awesome idea!

Christiana was lovely enough to send me a sample box from Byron Bay which included honey, coffee (YAAAS!), pecans, chocolate covered macadamias (these were amazing), semi-dried olives and macadamia and cacao spread….YUM!! There was also cute little bios on each producer and which markets they can be found at and she’s working on including recipes and travel guides with future boxes.

She’s currently running a Pozible crowd funding campaign to launch My Farmers Market Table. Discounts are being offered for those who pledge so get onto it! Boxes start at $79 and subscriptions can be either one off or ongoing and are only available within Australia.

  1. This is a really clever idea – I’ve seen beauty, jewellery, flowers, snacks and chaby chic home where boxes but a box of market food would be great. Hope it’s successful 🙂 took far away for me in the uk 😦
    Love bec x

  2. Chile you know I love a good farmers market. I just love the freshness of everything, and meeting the producers is always fun. Everything looks delish, what a fab idea! ♥
