OK, let’s get one thing straight…Kat Von D may be a home wrecker but the way I see it she did a favour for our girl Sandy (#TeamBullock) AND girl knows how to make some seriously fabulous make-up so I ain’t throwing any shade her way! In fact during my last Vegas Sephora haul I made a direct bee-line for her stand as I had a number of items I was gagging to get.
The Lock-It Tattoo Concealer came highly recommended for its great coverage and for being long lasting. I grabbed a tube in Medium 24 and was kinda taken aback at having to pay USD$25 (I know we get shafted for make-up in Oz and I should be used to paying a hefty price but I still thought this was a little pricey for a tiny tube). I really do like this concealer as it does have great coverage and is creamy and blends really well but I don’t think I’d repurchase this as I can get my regular go-to Maybelline Fit Me concealer for half the price.
You all know how much I absolutely adore the KVD tattoo liner and it’s basically become the one and only black liquid liner I use, so I was dying to try out Mad Max Brown (USD$19), and just like the black this doesn’t disappoint. It has the same fabulous applicator and is super easy to use. I think this’ll be my go to summer liner for a more relaxed “no make-up” make-up look (I know I could actually wear no make-up but what would be the fun in that?!).
During my Sydney Sephora haul earlier in the year I really wanted to try Studded Kiss in Vampira (USD$21) as one of the make-up artists was wearing it and the colour was giving me sheer LIFE, but alas they didn’t have any in stock so I’ve been a little love-sick for it ever since. I really, really love this shade but I feel like it wears a little patchy, or is that just my lips? I love the dark berry tones and like all good KVD lippies this last for approx. 4 hours before needing to reapply.
