Color Me Badd In the early 90s there were two things I loved equally and passionately; Beverly Hills 90210 and Color Me Badd. The former because, duh it was the best show ever, and the latter because they were colourful (hence the name), their songs were catchy and […]
I'm a Melbourne girl born and bred. I've lived abroad in Japan, the US and UK, but ultimately the need for good coffee brought me back home. I am constantly searching for delicious food and wine to eat and drink, the ultimate dress that makes me look fierce and to perfect my eyeliner game!
I love the fun of fashion, make-up and accessories, and my new passion is to find fabulous items on the cheap. I prefer to dress up rather than down and when ever I can with a red lip and a nude shoe.
A few other things about me; red over white wine (unless there’s bubbles, always bubbles), cats over dogs, summer over winter, eggs over easy – see what I did there?
If I'm not eating (which is rare), I love to shop, read, run, watch movies, love Pop Art (natch!) and I'm quite partial to a crossword. I also love organising the next outing and you’ll find me scouring social media to find out where the newest restaurant, bar, museum, opening of an envelope to go to is. One day I’d like to turn this hobby into work, any suggestions let me know at email@example.com
Can you believe we finally got some amazing spring weather on Saturday for this year’s Derby Day?! The sun was out in full force (yup, managed to get a little sunburnt – boo!) and the gals and I had a lovely day out at Flemington Racecourse. This year […]
Wow! 31 days of dresses (well, minus the day I was stuck in a robe and that could possibly, kinda, sorta be seen as a dress – work with me here) and let’s just say I still had a few more dresses up my sleeve. As a friend pointed out on […]
Happy Halloween boils and ghouls!! I’ve just spent most of the weekend watching a dedicated A Nightmare On Elm Street channel on cable – I have them all on DVD but there’s something special about watching your fave movies when they’re on telly don’t you think? Another crazy […]
Pseudo Echo When I was 15 I would spend most Saturday nights at home with my bestie, Tez, and we’d have the place to ourselves. More often than not we’d order pizzas and settle in for a night of either the latest release from Blockbuster or the newest episode […]
CDB What is it about the mix of music and teenagers that brings about such manic obsession? (Some may argue I still have this obsession in my 30s!) We’ve all had those bands/singers, when we were kids, that we just absolutely gagged over. Music that you would listen […]
WE BLOODY DID IT! Dollface, we’ve hit the $1,000 total and I couldn’t be more thankful/chuffed/excited! Thank you so much to everyone that’s donated or commented on Instagram with words of encouragement. I had a bit of a hiccup this week as I injured my foot in a […]
“I needed to change my experience into something positive. I want to inspire every other passionate young woman who is clashing with the world around them. I want them to know that they are not alone. And there is freedom in our ability to dream of better worlds.” […]
I hate to admit it but it has taken a Kardashian, well a Jenner to be exact, to make me think differently about the humble bandana. I never really thought that they were all that fashionable but they’re making a huge comback. At best, I thought they were a […]
Monique Brumby Back in the late 90s when I thought I was a little bit Indie (I really wasn’t) and a whole lotta cool (*ahem* wrong again) I absolutely, without a doubt was obsessed with Monique Brumby. I can’t remember whether it was Tez who introduced me to her […]
