Rosie’s Reading…
I could quite possibly open up a library with the pile of books on my bedside table that are on my “to read” list! What is it about buying new books when I have so many already that need to be read? I call it being a sucker […]
I'm a Melbourne girl born and bred. I've lived abroad in Japan, the US and UK, but ultimately the need for good coffee brought me back home. I am constantly searching for delicious food and wine to eat and drink, the ultimate dress that makes me look fierce and to perfect my eyeliner game!
I love the fun of fashion, make-up and accessories, and my new passion is to find fabulous items on the cheap. I prefer to dress up rather than down and when ever I can with a red lip and a nude shoe.
A few other things about me; red over white wine (unless there’s bubbles, always bubbles), cats over dogs, summer over winter, eggs over easy – see what I did there?
If I'm not eating (which is rare), I love to shop, read, run, watch movies, love Pop Art (natch!) and I'm quite partial to a crossword. I also love organising the next outing and you’ll find me scouring social media to find out where the newest restaurant, bar, museum, opening of an envelope to go to is. One day I’d like to turn this hobby into work, any suggestions let me know at rosirockets@hotmail.com

Firstly, I’d like to thank each and every one of my donators who generously parted ways with their cash and gave to an absolutely FROCKING good cause! I cannot believe that Frocktober has come and gone once again. Time really does fly when you’re scheduling your days around […]
When you’re counting the days by the frocks that you wear you can bet sweet baby Huey that the month simply melts away, and what a month October has been! The month began with the ladies and I getting all dolled up for the annual Hawthorn Best & […]
Before Frocktober began I thought I was being highly ambitious to try to raise $2,000. Last year I set my target as $1,000 and managed to hustle big and raise a little more than $1,500. This year I dared to dream even bigger and went for double the figure. It felt […]
SHUT THE FROCKING DOOR! I cannot believe there are only 11 days left of Frocktober for 2017. I’ve still got a little bit to go to reach my fundraising target of $2,000 and I am hustling harder than ever before. I’m definitely having more fun this year frocking up […]
There’s something awkward about asking people for money. For as long as I can remember I just have some sort of aversion to it. Even when I started fundraising for Frocktober this year I got kinda shy and afraid to ask people for donations. But what I’ve come to […]
If I had to sum up the 2010’s with a single word it’d be EYEBROWS! When it comes to our brows us ladies now want them big and bold. I can’t trawl through my newsfeeds without seeing a friend talk about or an ad for microblading and to be […]
Oh dollface, I know you understand the heartache of a break up! When that special someone in your life is no longer there to see you in all your intimate glory, to give you sage advice and share in the fun of some fabulous gossip… Isn’t it just […]
I don’t want to blow my own trumpet dollface but TOOTY TOOT TOOT! I have only 8 books left to go to in my 2017 reading challenge and I’m preeeeety sure I’m going to reach my target. I’m absolutely loving the return of daylight savings and being able to sneak in […]
It’s baaaaaaaack! Throughout October the Frocktober campaign invites women to band together and wear their favourite dresses while raising funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). Once again this month I’ll be donning my fabulous collection of frocks all for a brilliant cause. Me and my lovely […]
