Rosie Rockets

I'm a Melbourne girl born and bred. I've lived abroad in Japan, the US and UK, but ultimately the need for good coffee brought me back home. I am constantly searching for delicious food and wine to eat and drink, the ultimate dress that makes me look fierce and to perfect my eyeliner game!

I love the fun of fashion, make-up and accessories, and my new passion is to find fabulous items on the cheap. I prefer to dress up rather than down and when ever I can with a red lip and a nude shoe.

A few other things about me; red over white wine (unless there’s bubbles, always bubbles), cats over dogs, summer over winter, eggs over easy – see what I did there?

If I'm not eating (which is rare), I love to shop, read, run, watch movies, love Pop Art (natch!) and I'm quite partial to a crossword. I also love organising the next outing and you’ll find me scouring social media to find out where the newest restaurant, bar, museum, opening of an envelope to go to is. One day I’d like to turn this hobby into work, any suggestions let me know at rosirockets@hotmail.com

OOTD: Paint It Black ~ Day Four

One thing I’ve noticed about an all-black outfit is that almost everybody loves it. It really is the universal fashion language for steeze (style with ease that is – use it in a sentence today!) the world over, but especially here in Melbourne. It’s almost as if it’s […]

OOTD: Paint It Black ~ Day Three

On the weekend I walked into Mum and Dad’s house in my all black garb and Mum immediately was concerned “What’s wrong? Why are you all in black?” See, even mum knows I NEVER wear it! She thought I was paying respects to an aunt who had recently passed away […]

Rosie’s Reading…

The other day, I was eavesdropping on a conversation between two young guys on the street. It went a little something like this… Guy A: OMG that totally reminds me of that book (didn’t catch the name), have you read it? Guy B: I don’t read books. Rosie: *eyes […]
