I don’t pretend to be an organisational guru. Looking at pics on Pinterest can overwhelm me at times and make me feel like a domestic goon instead of a domestic goddess. Where do people get so good at doing these things? Look at this pic of someone organising […]
I'm a Melbourne girl born and bred. I've lived abroad in Japan, the US and UK, but ultimately the need for good coffee brought me back home. I am constantly searching for delicious food and wine to eat and drink, the ultimate dress that makes me look fierce and to perfect my eyeliner game!
I love the fun of fashion, make-up and accessories, and my new passion is to find fabulous items on the cheap. I prefer to dress up rather than down and when ever I can with a red lip and a nude shoe.
A few other things about me; red over white wine (unless there’s bubbles, always bubbles), cats over dogs, summer over winter, eggs over easy – see what I did there?
If I'm not eating (which is rare), I love to shop, read, run, watch movies, love Pop Art (natch!) and I'm quite partial to a crossword. I also love organising the next outing and you’ll find me scouring social media to find out where the newest restaurant, bar, museum, opening of an envelope to go to is. One day I’d like to turn this hobby into work, any suggestions let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org
I saw this look from Bella Thorne and absolutely loved the idea of all the focus being on the top and shoes. Now you know I’m not one for wearing pants, so much so that I had to borrow these 3/4 pants from my sister, I know […]
I bought this Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Gel Shadow in Painted Purple while I was last in Sydney. I hadn’t had a chance to really play around with it and decided to have a little fun on the weekend. The first thing I noticed is that it’s not easy […]
The Spring Graze Festival is on at the moment in Melbourne. This was Friday nights dinner at Campari House; pulled, slow-roasted lamb sliders matched with a schooner of James Squire Orchard Crush Cider – heaven!
Today is my half birthday. What’s that you may ask? Well it’s exactly six months since my last birthday and six months til my next one. So happy 33 and 1/2 to me! The concept of a half birthday may be weird to some, and I can understand […]
Last night I attended Collins Place’s Spring Racing’s Ultimate Fashion Workshop. It was a great night hosted by fashion stylist Franco Schifilliti who walked us through how to achieve a winning look from head to toe this coming Spring Racing season. He spoke to make-up artist Kim Taveres who […]
I’ve been looking at a lot of different blogs lately, trying to get some fashion and hair inspiration and to generally see what’s hot for the coming spring/summer season. One things for certain and that’s braids are in in a big way. Even at the Fashion Aid Ball […]
What’s not to love about a spot of High Tea? You get to dress up and then eat a ton of fancy sandwiches and cakes! This passed weekend I did just that, partaking in High Tea at Sofi’s Lounge at the Sofitel. The tradition of High (or Afternoon) […]
